Denture with spherical retention abutment

Denture with spherical retention abutment

For this type of prosthesis a single tooth or a maximum two pieces of one-piece implant is sufficient. Here there will be a glued sphere ending in an anchor/post stump or a spherical crown into the buffed, root canal treated tooth or onto the dental crown. Itself on a one-piece implant can be found a sphere retention element. The removable denture include snaps, which the sphere may be snapped into and it holds the denture in place. In case of an implantation where the primary stability is adequate, this technic can be used immediately and the patient after 1 hour of treatment can leave the clinic with fixed teeth.
